Milena Dopitová studied at the Academy of Fine Art in Prague between 1986 and 1994. She was a member of the group of artists called Pondělí (Monday) founded in 1989. Since the 1990s, she has been creating installations that largely elaborate social and gender topics. She works with video sequences, photography, and creates spatial objects. In her work Sixty Something (2013), she deals with the issue of ageing. Video sequences and black and white photographs capturing the changes of the artist and her twin sister into sixty-year-old women is part of the installation.
