Anonymous artist (Nabeshima style) - High-footed bowl decorated with two phoenixes
The bowl is decorated with two phoenixes with long feathers coiled in a circle in the clouds. The outer rim bears a fragmentary “pearl” ornament. The high foot is characteristic of Ōkakawachi products. It bears the so-called comb pattern. (See Filip Suchomel – Marcela Suchomelová, Mistrovská díla japonského porcelánu, Praha 1997, p. 178.)
