Vase decorated with floral medallions on meshwork background

The enamel- and gold-decorated glaze suggests the dish is a typical 19th-century Kyōto product modelled on older satsumayaki stoneware. It was made in the Satsuma Principality in southern Kyūshū. The background imitates meshwork and is decorated with motifs of butterflies and medallions with plant motifs.
