Lidded dish with floral design

This lidded dish from Arita is decorated with motifs of rocks, peonies, camellias and chrysanthemums. The decorative style and colour enamel combination suggest that the dish was produced in the style of “old Imari porcelain” (ko-imari) as early as 1680.
