Anonymous - Cylindrical vase with two moulded dragons on shoulders
Porcelain vessels with monochrome glazes aesthetically follow the well-known monochromes from the Song period, but in technological terms, these glazes were very innovative. Blue tones of different intensity were achieved using cobalt as a colorant. Besides the noble shade of its glaze, this ware is decorated with a perfectly executed motif of moulded dragons climbing toward its neck.
