Still Life with Goblet

The works of Pablo Picasso and Cubism represent in Vincenc Kramář´s conception the culmination of the painter's endeavour to depict reality in three dimensions. This endeavour, even in the works of Pablo Picasso, was best reflected in the still life: " The still life, composed of small objects, achieved the versatile embodiment and depiction of shapes better than any other genre. (...) Picasso's and Braque's still lives are in essence pure, lyrical shape poems.
