Portrait of Josef Václav Myslbek

Brožík and Myslbek entered the Prague Academy in 1868. Ten years later they met in Paris and it was probably then that Brožík painted Myslbek’s portrait. Both artists participated in the decorating of the National Theatre in Prague and in the nineties they both taught at the Prague Academy.
