Jan Zrzavý - Design for a cover and study for the chapter initials to Jeník’s Tales by Jan Zrzavý
His small book was called Jeníkovy pohádky (Jeník’s Tales) and comprised ten short stories for children that Zrzavý wrote, inspired by his childhood when he lived in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. His literary input still reflected his original desire to be a writer. For the book’s cover, he sketched a fairy-tale hill covered with naive motifs and prepared stylized capital letters for the individual texts.
