The Crucifixion with the Virgin Mary, St. John the Baptist and Two Martyrs

Together with a pendant painting, The Virgin Nursing Infant Jesus, now in the Alte Pinakothek in Munich, the small-size panel painting with the Crucifixion formed a small diptych. In the concept of painting, both panels are still related to the fading trend of the international Gothic in the style of Michelino da Besozzo, whom Moretti followed.
