Grazing (Rural Idyll), study

The study of the Grazing (Rural Idyll) appears to have been produced in plein air. Similar to his city genre paintings, Bartoněk used the same process for the ones with rural topics - making the studies of the environment and small formats with similar themes prior to creating the final painting. Thus the Grazing may be joined with the Goose Girl.
