Box with lid decorated with moulded design

The shape of this box evokes a furoshiki scarf wrapped in a bundle. The main figures are Hotei, the god of wealth and happiness, and Ebisu, the patron saint of fishermen. They are two of the traditional Seven Lucky Gods, so the motif was probably congratulatory.
