Young Woman Sewing

Vaillant often portrayed members of his extended family which relate to his portraits of children, young men and women, and family groups portraying special intimacy. The young woman portrayed in the interior and focusing on sewing is also found in other Vaillant’s prints. This is the first state of the print.
