The box was made in the lacquer application technique, which results in a “siliceous” polish imitating aventurine. The bottles are made of white metal. The body of the box is adorned with the congratulatory motif of flying cranes representing perpetuity and longevity, while the box’s sides are decorated with a motif of ships with a hoisted sail executed in golden lacquer.
