Navrátil's manner of painting with touches of colour was a legacy of luminous Rococo painting. An excellent exemple of the Second Rococo in Navrátil's landscape painting is this Mountain valley near Zillertal; he painted it while working at Zákupy and Ploskovice, going from there on excursions to northern Bohemia, the Giant Mountains and Silesia.
